The Senior RevOps Consultant serves as a strategic and hands-on practitioner who drives end-to-end revenue operations engagements for PolarisOps clients. In this role you will own client relationships, lead cross-functional project teams, and deliver high-quality outcomes across the full RevOps spectrum: from CRM architecture and data strategy to process design, systems integration, and enablement. You are equally comfortable whiteboarding a lead-to-cash flow with a VP of Sales and building the Salesforce automation that brings it to life.
Beyond individual delivery, you will mentor junior consultants, contribute to internal practice development, and serve as a trusted single point of contact for your clients, embodying the PolarisOps standard of excellence at every engagement.
This is a high-visibility role that combines rigorous project governance with genuine client partnership. You will identify expansion opportunities, drive renewals, and help shape the firm's delivery methodology as we scale.
Client Engagement & Advisory
- Act as the client's primary point of contact and trusted advisor across all phases of the engagement.
- Lead discovery, requirements gathering, and solution design workshops with client stakeholders at all levels.
- Translate complex client needs into actionable project plans, user stories, and technical requirements.
- Proactively manage client expectations, escalate risks early, and develop mitigation strategies collaboratively.
- Cultivate long-term client relationships that evolve from project delivery to strategic partnership.
Delivery & Technical Excellence
- Design and implement scalable RevOps solutions across CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot), CPQ, CLM, and adjacent platforms.
- Architect and manage data models, database schemas, and data quality frameworks that support reporting and operations.
- Build and maintain integrations between revenue systems via APIs, middleware (e.g., Workato, MuleSoft, Zapier), and native connectors.
- Develop BI and analytics solutions (Tableau, Looker, dbt, SQL) that deliver actionable pipeline, retention, and revenue insights.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices to ensure knowledge transfer and client self-sufficiency.
- Consistently deliver the highest quality work product and hold the bar for the broader project team.
Project & Team Leadership
- Lead project teams end-to-end, managing backlog refinement, sprint planning, milestone tracking, and stakeholder reporting.
- Accurately estimate level of effort and delivery timelines for complex tasks; surface tradeoffs clearly to clients and leadership.
- Proactively identify process improvements, scheduling conflicts, and resource constraints before they become issues.
- Develop reusable templates, playbooks, and delivery frameworks that increase team efficiency across engagements.
- Foster diversity of thought and create structured opportunities for collaboration within and across project teams.
- Make recommendations on best use of team members and technology to maximize client value.
Mentorship & Professional Development
- Mentor junior consultants by helping them set clear goals, identifying specific development actions and timelines, and tracking progress.
- Advocate for mentees' growth and promotion readiness, providing tangible examples of capability and potential.
- Train team members on platform capabilities, presentation skills, and client engagement best practices.
- Lead by example, modeling integrity, accountability, and a growth mindset at every client and internal interaction.
- Acknowledge mistakes openly, support root-cause analysis, and champion paths for mitigation and continuous improvement.
